About

Hazel Coonagh is an award winning visual artist, photographer and educator from Dublin, Ireland.

Hazel’s work is a blend of portraiture and surrealism, based on themes of nature, identity and mental health. Her photographic practice began in 2010 and has since embraced visual arts and mixed media methodologies. Embroidery and digital manipulation are prominent features of Coonagh’s unique work, pushing her original skills beyond the parameters of the photographic frame.
